Topic – Developing an Effective Safety Program
Learn the essential components of driving effectiveness and engagement in your organization’s safety process.
Presented by Dante Bellino, Vice President, Risk Management Department
It’s a common misunderstanding that an effective and sustainable safety program is the result of having a highly qualified safety professional on staff and utilizing a complex safety manual. This is often a flawed and incorrect belief. What is proven to be effective, is having a meaningful, concise and easily understood proactive safety process.
In our hands-on workshop, we will discuss two critical approaches that will supercharge your program utilizing resources that are currently available.
Part I – Common pitfalls of a safety program
Participants will develop an Injury and Illness Prevention Program tailored to their organization’s specific needs
Part II – Safety Teams – How to make them work successfully
